The Foundation
The Rosa Alfieri Private Foundation of Biology and Tropical Medicine (FRA) was founded in 2005 with the aim of contributing to the improvement of health in developing countries. We have decided to identify and reinforce various health and welfare projects to improve efficiency in the use of private funds and resources of the Foundation.
The foundation is self-funded and autonomous, demonstrating principles of political and religious impartiality so that objectives are not conditioned by political interests or religious beliefs in the country in question.
The Rosa Alfieri Private Foundation of Biology and Tropical Medicine is inscribed in the Generalitat de Catalunya's Register of Foundations under the number Nº2127. It benefits from official recognition by the state of Senegal, expressed by the Ministry of the Interior and General Business Directory and the regional administration of Dakar, under the number Nº00315 / MINT / DAGAT / DEL / Whizz. Since March 2011, the Foundation is a member of the European Venture Philantropy Association (EVPA)
